How to Enter

  1. Entry into the Closest-to-Pin Competition (the Competition) is automatic for all participants who book and attend a Tee Off Happy Hour session under Tier B (Oh What a Night) or Tier C (Legendary Happy Hour).
  2. No separate entry fee is required and no purchase beyond the standard booking fee is necessary to enter.
  3. Each eligible participant receives one (1) closest-to-pin attempt per session as part of their standard simulator session.
  4. The Competition runs on a weekly basis. Each competition week runs from Monday to Sunday inclusive.

Eligibility

  1. The Competition is open to all participants aged 18 years and over who attend an eligible Tee Off Happy Hour session during the promotion period.
  2. Employees, contractors and immediate family members of The Golf Room are not eligible to enter.
  3. Entry is not transferable.

How the Competition Works

  1. During each eligible session, participants will complete a Closest-to-Pin challenge on The Golf Room’s golf simulator (GS Pro).
  2. The result is determined by which participant’s shot lands closest to the designated pin on the simulator screen. The simulator records and displays the result.
  3. The winning shot from each session is recorded by The Golf Room staff.
  4. At the end of each competition week, The Golf Room will identify the single closest-to-pin result across all eligible sessions that week. That participant is the weekly winner.
  5. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the participant whose winning shot was recorded earliest in the competition week.
  6. The result is determined by skill. The Golf Room declares the result based on simulator data.

Prize

  1. One (1) prize is awarded per competition week.
  2. The prize is $20 in-venue credit redeemable at The Golf Room Wodonga (the Prize).
  3. The Prize is not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and has no cash value.
  4. The Prize credit must be used within 90 days of the date of issue.
  5. The Prize credit may be applied toward simulator bay hire or food and beverage purchases at The Golf Room. It cannot be applied toward third-party services or memberships unless otherwise specified.
  6. The Golf Room reserves the right to substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value if the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize

  1. The weekly winner will be notified in person at the venue or by phone or email using the contact details provided at the time of booking.
  2. If the winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of notification, the Prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible participant.
  3. The Golf Room will maintain a record of each weekly winner and prize issued.

General Conditions

  1. The Golf Room reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Competition at any time without notice, subject to applicable laws.
  2. The Golf Room’s decision on all matters relating to the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. The Golf Room is not responsible for any technical failures, late or misdirected entries, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  4. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  5. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.

Privacy

  1. Personal information collected in connection with this Competition will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Competition and notifying the winner.
  2. The Golf Room handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Information will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, except as required by law.
